State Supreme Court Justice rules threat assessment report not a public record

 

An article in today’s Times Union covers a decision by State Supreme Court Justice Adam W. Silverman on the public release of a threat assessment report the college commissioned in the wake of a stabbing incident on campus in 2022. In declining the public release of the document, Justice Silverman’s ruling, in part, read, “releasing a document listing currently unaddressed ‘vulnerabilities’ … could endanger the life or safety of those on the campus.”
